Description of Functionality
This application can recognise and extract the information held within a QR Code. Not strictly an application in its own right, this functionality can be used as a basis for your invention; as demonstrated in the screenshots below. Often QR readers are packaged as standalone applications - deciphering the QR code to reveal a URL or snippet of information. Integrating a QR reader into a bespoke application enables a real-world interactivity element, and a way to augment reality.
An example would be a specific application for an Art gallery. Each display (furnished with a QR code on the information plaque) could be assigned an action, allowing the initiation of a particular sequence, stored within the app itself. i.e. triggering a video, image, overlay, link, CTA, etc.
